Welcome to the St Ives Constituency Labour Party’s website. Here you can find the latest news from our Councillors and updates from the local party.
We stand candidates in all elections from parish and town councils to Cornwall Council and for Parliament. The St Ives Constituency includes Penzance and everything to its west, including Land’s End and the Isles of Scilly, St Ives and Carbis Bay (but not Hayle), through Praa Sands to Helston and the entire Lizard Peninsula. A full list of our councillors and elected officials is available on this website. We currently have four councillors on Penzance Town Council, including the Mayor, three on St Ives Town Council and one in St Just. We also have a councillor on Cornwall Council for Penzance Central. Alana Bates came third for Labour here in the general election in 2019.
While you are here, please take a look at our blog which will tell you what we have been up to, see what events we have coming up and don’t forget to check out our social media pages.
We are very fortunate to have plenty of volunteers but in a large constituency with such a scattered population we will always welcome more help and support, please let us know through the Contact page if you’d like to get involved in any way.
